I'm also feeling better after this weekend. Since my other senior clerk is out very sick, for a while, this gives us a temporary opportunity to actually, oh I don't know, make the job SIMPLER instead of her needlessly going the extra mile and we're dragged along. Less stress because the job's easier now. Let our satellite bosses handle the shit that's beyond our tools to use. And use updates given by our employer's workers when necessary. It's sad because I really like the woman who's out, she's nice and doesn't rag on my looks or make fun of me at all compared to my last job where I got harassed over my appearance daily, looking like a nerd, but her wanting us to go above and beyond unnecessarily just made the job needlessly harder and more stressful. Still hope she gets better though. But no lie, I AM enjoying this time of following the rules and limitations and only extending effort expertly and where it's useful.
