never rent from a “friend”. It’s been a pain in the ass and I can’t wait to move. I had a gut feeling but still continued. The friend does not want to keep to the agreement and makes up stuff that I’ve never said. The rent is paid and the agreement was to pay the deposit in increments because I couldn’t pay the whole amount and the friend said it was ok now the friend is saying I was supposed to pay the whole deposit after the 1st rent payment. 20% of the deposit has been paid. I’m just venting. I don’t need an answer.
