my japanese teacher said something absolutely disgusting to my muslim mother. and it made me feel unsafe and disgusted. i have a trans friend, mtf, who i wanted to room with on a japanese tour at a hotel. she's a friend. someone i can trust. the teacher didn't think so, because "opposite genders can't be in the same room", which is fair, so she moved me with some other girls. we had a meeting with the parents about details, and when she talked about roomings, she looked directly at my mom and said "we wouldn't want another small addition on the flight, right?", in which she was implying that with a boy and girl in the same room, they'll have sex. i felt so uncomfortable and unsafe in that moment. the audacity of her to say that. my trans friend is a friend. thats it. to imply that between us, as teenagers, is disgusting and fucking horrific. im glad she's not my actual teacher. also, my mom scolded me for embarrassing her, so theres that. stay safe guys
