My parents are constantly forcing me to talk to / interact with my brother. Normally, I have no objection to this. However, he has been nothing but rude, snarky and nasty to me all day, yelling at me constantly and treating me like an idiot even though I'm older than him. When I tell my mom to stop being a doormat and take away his shit for being so disrespectful, as in talking back to her and being unnecessarily rude, I get this whole lecture about how I should drop all of my homework (which is going to take 10+ hrs because its labor day and my teachers just gave us tons of stuff) and force him to hang out with me. I love him, I really do, but sometimes he is the most infuriating little shit.
