I love my fiance but I also can’t stand him at the same time. He has this woe-is-me attitude 24/7 and he has no ambition. I try to help him with whatever I can, but he’s either weirdly passive aggressive about it or he constantly mopes. I literally pay for everything in our relationship, along with doing all the housework and it genuinely feels like he expects me to do everything rather than just him being grateful that I choose to do it. Our energy bill came up to $800 and instead of at least offer comforting words, he was basically like “it has to get paid either way.” I’m half tempted to just stop offering to pay for anything we do and just do stuff on my own. It would be way different if he was grateful and didn’t expect it, but i’m ready to just call it a day.
