SOMEONE TELL ME IF IM IN THE WRONG HERE. I’m hard of hearing- meaning I’m halfway deaf in one ear. My entire family knows this, usually I keep one ear bud out so I can listen if my parents call me name. Other times I put the other one in when my parents are saying inappropriate things because I just don’t wanna listen to that, so then i have two in instead of one- I literally can’t hear anything. Then I took out ear bud to tell my mom I have a cavity- (bec my tooth started hurting…) she looked at my dad- looked at me and said “are you ignoring me?” I didn’t hear her at all. So, am I in the wrong for wanting to ignore them when they are talking inappropriately? Or..? Someone please tell me -M.P
