I get the backlash of AI, not that I would use it for artistic talent. However, with the media surrounding people and their journeys of getting better without the use of it for things like drawing primarily, I feel a bit saddened. Not because they had the effort, but because I can’t have it anymore. If I sacrificed my years for it during school then maybe I would’ve learnt but I didn’t. I’m 19 now, moving into my 20’s next year and I feel as if I’ve got no time for it. Between work, drinking and every other aspect of a low-life drunk it feels as if I’ve got to place to explore creativity outside of my fleeting hours I have left. Congratulations to those who’ve dedicated their life to art but to put it simply, people like me don’t have much time to participate in these things and it’s a royal pain to have that sort of thing pushed in our faces, regardless of the intended reaction from such media. This has been Lou, thank you for reading.
