Rant #15693

just wondering is anyone else awake right now for absolutely no reason? not even particularly sad. just... here. room's quiet, everyone's probably asleep, and somehow it feels weird knowing there are thousands of people awake at the exact same time, each in their own little room, thinking their own stupid little thoughts. i don't really want to talk to anyone. i just want to know someone else is awake too. that's all.
