It's gotten to the point where it's becoming obvious that a lot of climate change deniers just don't want to believe it's happening. Nothing will convince them otherwise. It's this hot and dry because it's summer. The wildfires are all arson. I get it, I've been there, not with climate change but with something else. When you know something bad is happening but you don't want to change the lifestyle that keeps you sane tland then the catastrophe happens anyway and the rules somehow didn't apply to the elites, convincing yourself it's all a con does make you feel better about your natural and understandable selfishness. But you shouldn't be shamed for needing to use the car. Or flying abroad for a nice holiday. Or using a bit of AI to help you apply for a job that could finally secure your future. Or buying new cheap black knickers for that time of the month. You're not doing anything wrong. We can all do our bit but no one is asking you to live in a cave.
