YOU GUYS. I just wanted to say, I've always loved reading and watching romance no matter how cringey or cliche it gets. There's a certain charm and joy to it (despite not having experienced it myself.) HOWEVER, I just want to highlight the beauty of friendships as well. I think friendships are so under represented in media in a way that is as layered or understood as romantic relationships. I always feel like friendships are a lost art in stories because they are so easily turned into couples. Relationships with other people in general to me, are really layered and something that can't exactly be described in a few words. Anyway, I feel like I've just wanted to see more friendships in media that aren't so easily dismissed as "oh they actually like each other" or "they're the silly best friends." I get the simplicity in that as well, however it'd be also nice to see a story centered among the bonds a character might have with a friend :) idk yall im js rambling
