We are victims with harm OCD that makes us believe we are a danger to children in everything we do even though we have never and would never willfully imagine hurting a child. It's an intrusive thought. Intrusive thoughts are not desires. You are not in charge of "forgiving" something that is not a moral failing. You need to learn more and talk to more people who are being TREATED for OCD. Like actually talk to people. If you have encountered an actual pedophile who hides their attraction behind the label P-OCD, then I'm sorry, but your post is horrifically out of line and you need to do more research. I used to believe the same thing as you, because I was a recent survivor of CSA and reacted badly to hearing about this and just assumed it was pedophiles hiding behind a new label.
