A reply to this would be great. "Which is better? To be born good or to overcome one's evil nature though great effort?" There is a video game I think of that had this quote. The dragon Paarthunax says this in the game because he was once a general in a war where he did bad things. I can relate to him. I've never been a general but I have done bad things. I think it's better to be born good because if someone is always good they do less harm than someone who has done harm and then changed. I may have changed. I may understand the struggle of good against evil within myself but I have still caused harm. I try not to praise myself because I likely have a bias for myself. It's not right for me or anyone to say that we ourselves are good people. We need to be told we are good people by others who understand all of us. Even then if they say I am a good person do they understand? Do they see the crimes I've done? That is why I want your response to this.
