I don't get the whole class system. So an office worker who's on minimum wage and can't afford to move out of their parents' house is middle-class and privileged, while a plumber who earns 30k a year and can get approved for a mortgage and can afford a car is a poor working-class person? This isn't new either, honestly I think the reason it winds me up so much is because I have always been seen as middle-class because my parents worked office jobs and couldn't get a council house. But the "poor working-class children" were always better off than me and they would pick on me for it. They could afford new clothes, while I had to wear clothes that were donated to me and I'd outgrown them but I had no money to buy anything new because my parents were paid peanuts. But no, I'm the privileged one apparently.
