Why do I always get the brunt of it all and the other's the good part? I used to have a friend called S. We were good friends, until I realized why S never truly had good friends before me. Less than a month in he opened up to me about his problems, every little fucking thing. I was always there for him, always listening. As if it was my duty because "that's what friends do." I even liked him, but he started to burden me with his problems, then burden me with the guilt of him trying to kill himself. Calling me 3 am when he used to cut his wrists, not knowing what to do. It was my choice that I stayed friends with him. I even connected therapists, asked friends near him to help him in any way. I took the brunt of it all. He was the one that cut me off when I started to experience problems in my mental health. Called me a shitty friend when I wasn't in the mood to talk. Now he posts pics on his socials with another girl. He looks happy. I wonder if she had to deal with this probably not
