I'm tired of the gender wars. Trans activists and critics of JK Rowling criticise her writing and worldbuilding as a roundabout way to exert superiority over Harry Potter fans, to "get back" at them supporting her. She's absolutely a TERF, but she's also a misandrist, as most feminists are. You all have every right to live your lives as you choose, but she's damaged and taking it out on others, surrounding herself with toxic femininity, and trans activists are pushing people away by enacting fascistic and authoritarian behaviour. You're all fucking stupid and you all need to grow up. I'm so tired of this war over a fucking wizard boy. Pick battles that fucking matter. You know why people still buy Harry Potter stuff? Because they're allowed to. It isn't supporting "trans genocide". You're making life harder by thinking you have the power to take entertainment away from people and equating a consumer with the creator. That's not how any of this works.
