I guess people don't think. That's the mantra for humanity. Probably also the key point how we go extinct and almost ruin the earth for the other inhabitants. Anyway, I'm reading a nice airline blog, which keeps me motivated to go to my politic heavy fucking job that pays well, but the expenses, especially health are intolerable. Otherwise, I would have left long ago. So it's all about predicting whether some hotel CEO is gonna devalue, ie raise the points to redeem a free night. For me, I avoid all that. I don't do the old couponing lady type shit my mom and grandma used to do. I just buy it outright to save myself from all that hassle of devalued points, or if there's any upgrade for some room when you just should be grateful you're sleeping, amongst other little nickel and dime shit that people allow themselves to make this experience stressful. Pay it full upfront, little to no chance of the room not being there or your airline seat not guaranteed to you also.
