i wish a 40 hour work week wasn't the norm. there needs to be a new standard; it doesn't need to be a super low number, i just want/need enough so that i'm still making a living but also so that i no longer feel like i am on the verge of ending it all. also why does the u.s. have ZERO guaranteed off/free days?? THIS coming from the same country that loves to yap its head off about "freedom". i wish we did better. actually we have BEEN capable of doing better for a long time now. i can only hope that good change comes soon.
