I find it strange how a teenager can bully someone and attack them and completely destroy their life and most people will sympathise and excuse the bully because "they were probably treated like that by their parents" and "hurt people hurt people". But when a teenager uses a slur without knowing it's a slur and apologises for it, they're labelled a bad person for the rest of their lives. The world favours bullies. That's why they become popular. That's why they become presidents. While generally good but also naturally flawed people get shunned.
